Guru Beadbi

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa,
Waheguru ji ki Fateh!!

sheraan de dereaan te
aj giddad karan kaloalan

Dear all,
i just came across a horrible news today. one which would, or at-least which should, shake and insult every sikh who has some honor left i him/her.
you may read it here: http://rozanaspokesman.com/fullpage.aspx?view=main&mview=May&dview=03&pview=7

for non punjabis, see this: http://epaper.hindustandainik.com/Web/Article/2008/05/02/005/02_05_2008_005_015.jpg
or http://panthic.org/blogs/2008/04/30/beadbi-of-guru-granth-sahib-jis-saroop-by-landlord-causes-a-mini-riot-in-delhi-neighborhood

After going through all these reports, i only feel pity for the Sikhs who think there is still honor for them in the society. for those who think cinema and media mis-represent them, they should forget about ever getting an honorable role in cinema. how can one expect respect for a Sikh if the epicenter of Sikh society is just tossed out of a window 2 storeys from ground and the Sikhs cant do anything.

My heart burns. And this is not because a foolish person did this disgustingly disgraceful act of stupidity but because the Aapke liye, Aapke saath Hamesha Delhi police is invariably on the wrong end in Sikh affairs. doesnt this seem like history all over again? Didnt someone else insult the Guru once a few years ago? where is he now?

on one hand we have the 300 saala yatra with all pomp and show and on the other we have moronic people like this Singal who do such stupidity and sign their death warrants themselves.
I wonder how long and how much more insult will it take for the Sikh masses to wake up from their pleasant dream of India Shining.

Another important thing i strongly feel about is, have we just covered up the Guru in way too many rumaalas without reading and spreading the message of bani? if yes, then this is our primary fault. Where else would you get inspiration of righteousness from? where else would you get Guru's clear cut message of

ja-o ta-o paraym khaylan kaa chaa-o.
If you desire to play this game of love with Me,

sir Dhar talee galee mayree aa-o.
then step onto My Path with your head in hand.

it maarag pair Dhareejai.
When you place your feet on this Path,

sir deejai kaan na keejai. ||20||
give Me your head, and do not pay any attention to public opinion. ||20||

Kings have come and kings have gone. the ones who owned red forts also died in prisons wih nothing to eat. No one can come close to the respect and honor we have for the Guru. The Guru has been with us, is with us and as long as the last Sikh breaths, will be with us honorably.

Guru Ang Sang
